PCC women's soccer falls to Hutchinson

The Pratt Community College women's soccer team returned home for a single game against Hutchinson Community College. The Blue and White showed grit against Hutchinson, but the quick hitting offense of Hutchinson proved too much for the Beavers. Pratt falls to Hutchinson 0-6.

Offensively for the Beavers, Cala Jamison and Avery Villines led the way with a shot each. Brittany Smith came away from the match with 13 saves between the pipes for the Blue and White.

"We knew going into the game that Hutchinson was a very attacking team," said Head Coach Ashley Burnett. "We were organized defensively and it is definitely an improvement from last year. I am proud of the effort the girls gave."

PCC women's soccer travels to Dodge City on Sept. 17. Kickoff for the men's and women's double header is at 1 p.m.
