PCC volleyball drops match to Colby CC

The Pratt Community College volleyball team kicked off their longest home stretch of the season with a game against Colby Community College on Sept. 13. The Beavers battled hard in the first set, but Colby found their rhythm in sets two and three. Pratt falls to Colby in straight sets 0-3 (23-25; 10-25; 9-15).

The Blue and White was led in attacking by Brooke Theis. She had seven kills in the match against Colby. Behind her was Lexi Schamberger and Stephanie Reichenberger with six kills each. Leading the Beavers in assists was Taylor Groen-Younger with 21 assists. Naomi Warren led PCC defensively with 18 digs. Groen-Younger had eight digs and Schamberger rounds out the dig leaders for Pratt with six digs.

PCC volleyball continues their home stand against Seminole State on Friday Sept. 15. First serve of the match will be at 5 p.m.
