PCC volleyball falls to Hutchinson

The Pratt Community College volleyball team ended their four game home stand with a Black Out game against Hutchinson Community College. The Blue and White battled, but a relentless offense by Hutchinson gave them the edge in this matchup. PCC falls to Hutchinson 0-3 (20-25; 19-25; 10-25).

The Beavers stayed with Hutchinson in the first two sets, but the Hutchinson offense scored in several streaks to give them the first two sets. Set three was all Hutchinson after a long run to begin the set.

Brooke Menhusen led Pratt offensively with 10 kills. Taylor Groen-Younger led the Blue and White in assists. Defensively, libero Naomi Warren came up with 12 digs.

PCC volleyball looks to bounce back on the road with a game against Butler CC on Sept. 22 before heading into the Hesston College Tri on Sept. 23.
