Pratt Community College men's soccer hosted Garden City Community College for the Sophomore Day match. After a defensive first half which saw both teams scoreless, the second half was opened up with an early goal by Garden City. PCC falls to Garden City 0-3.
The Beaver offense pressured the Garden City defense with eight corner kicks in the match and several free kicks, but could not find the back of the net. Aaron Grant led the Blue and White in shots with three shots. Behind him was Francesco D'Aurelio with a pair of shots. Splitting duty in goal for Pratt was Louis Sharp and Marc Colman. Sharp had two saves, and Colman came up with a save while between the pipes.
PCC men's soccer closes out the regular season on the road in Great Bend, Kan. on Oct. 21. The match against Barton Community College kicks off at 4 p.m.
