PCC volleyball falls to Dodge City CC

Pratt Community College volleyball returned to the Dennis Lesh Sports Arena for a match against Dodge City Community College on Oct. 18. The Beavers could not counter the quick hitting offense of Dodge City. PCC loses to Dodge City 0-3 in sets.

Allison Rose led the offense for the Blue and White with seven kills. Lexi Schamberger followed with six kills. Taylor Groen-Younger set up the attack for PCC with 18 assists. Defensive leaders for the Beavers were Paige Brown and Schamberger who had 20 digs each. Player of the Match goes to Dodge City's Jaylen Pegues with 13 digs, 10 kills, and two assists.

PCC volleyball hits the road for a pair of road matches against Hutchinson Community College on Oct. 21 and Colby Community College on Oct. 23. PCC volleyball closes out the 2017 season in the Beaver Dome against Butler Community College on Oct. 25. First serve of the Butler match is set for 2 p.m.
