Pratt Community College men's basketball hit the road for a game against Hutchinson Community College. The Beavers battled the Blue Dragons, but Hutchinson took advantage of several scoring runs to secure the win. PCC falls to Hutchinson CC 84-104.
The Blue and White saw offensive production from several players against Hutchinson. Asem Johnson capitalized on rebounding and put back shots down low for the Beavers. He finished the game with 21 points, seven rebounds, two steals and an assist. AJ Banks led the guards with 12 points, four assists, two rebounds and a steal. Clinton Bentley came off the bench for nine points, three rebounds, an assist and a steal.
Player of the game goes to Pratt's James Brooks. Brooks was on a tear against Hutchinson putting up a double-double of 27 points and 11 rebounds. He also had three assists and two steals while going 9-13 from three point range.
PCC comes home for a two game stretch. First up for the Beavers is Cloud County Community College on Jan. 27. Tip-off is set for 4 p.m.
