The Pratt Community College women's basketball team traveled to Independence, Kan. to face Independence Community College in a game rescheduled due to weather. A huge scoring period by Independence proved too much for the Beavers to overcome. PCC loses 41-87.

Nya Mach led the Beavers against Independence. Mach came off the bench to lead the Blue and White in scoring with 13 points. Player of the game goes to Erica Moore who led all scorers with 24 points.

PCC women's basketball continues their road stretch with a game at Hutchinson Community College on Jan. 24. Tip off is set for 6 p.m.
