PCC track and field compete in the ENMU Greyhound Open

Pratt Community College track and field hit the road to compete at the Eastern New Mexico University Greyhound Open in Portales, New Mexico.

Several runners for the women's squad broke their personal bests at the open. Ashley Marcelin and Leeasha Madison broke their times in the 800m. Marcelin had an eight second improvement to her time running a 2:34.82. Madison finished ahead with a time of 2:30.65 which is a three second increase to her time. Madison is currently ranked 18th nationally in the 800m. Aminata Kenyawani improved her time in the 1500m by 10 seconds with a time of 5:19.84.

On the men's side, Yves Cherubin took first in the 110m hurdles with a time of 15.74. The Beavers placed Will Charles and Elijah Battle in the top four in the 800m. In the 200m, Jevony Murray and Dorson St. Phard took second and third. The two were not finished there as they placed third and fourth in the 100m.

PCC track and field travel to Shawnee, OK to compete in the Oklahoma Baptist University on March 30-31. Events for the day start in the moring at 10 a.m.
