PRATT, Kans.- As Pratt Community College continues its small step toward a new future, October 22nd marks a giant leap for the school.

PCC will unveil the just-finished soccer/track & field facility located directly east of the Green Sports Complex at 5 PM on Tuesday, October 22nd. Though this project began before athletic director Tim Swartzendruber accepted his new position in March, upgrading the Beavers' athletic facilities was already on his to-do list.

“I was fortunate to be hired when this project was being finalized and was able to attend a management meeting at The Law Company," Swartzendruber said. "To see the ground-breaking through the completion has been a thrill and certainly exciting for Pratt Community College athletics. The community should be proud of this venue. The quality is second to none and we are excited to host soccer matches and track meets starting next school year.”

The event is free to the public, where refreshments will be provided. For those that cannot attend but are interested in watching the event, the ribbon-cutting ceremony will be livestreamed here.
