Coach Eddy was named interim head coach of the Pratt Community College Men’s Basketball team on November 1st, 2021. He was elevated to head coach during that same season. During his time as interim head coach he guided the team to a road playoff win against Barton County Community College. Catapulting the Beavers into the quarterfinals of the Region VI Tournament for the first time since 2019.

Coach Eddy came to PCC after one season as an assistant coach in the Neosho County Community College (NCCC). Before starting his college coaching career, he was the Head Coach of the Skyline High School T-Birds right here in Pratt. His time spent at Skyline resulted in a 59-9 record and leading his team to the state tournament as the number one seed in his final season. Finally, Coach Eddy spends his summers coaching in the Western Kansas Elite basketball program.

In the 2022-2023 season, which was Eddy’s first official year as head coach, he led the Beavers to a 6th place finish in the loaded Jayhawk Conference. They won at Hutchinson Community College for the first time in 17 years. They also beat a number of NJCAA ranked teams this season.
