The Pratt Community College men's basketball team remained undefeated after hosting Spring Creek Academy for the fourth match of a 7-game home stand. The Beavers ended up on the positive end of an 111-65 score at the end of night, defeating Spring Creek and adding another win to make them 4-0 overall.

PCC had a plethora of scoring from several team members. Four different players from Pratt scored 20 points or more in the contest.

Making his first appearance in the 2018-19 season was forward Martin Lakovic, who led all scorers with 26 points. Lakovic sunk 13-of-17 shots from the field and was a single rebound away from recording a double-double in his first collegiate game. He accomplished the well-rounded stat line in only 25 minutes of playing time and without attempting a single 3-point basket.

Guard Drew Maschoff came alive for his first game as a Beaver as well. Maschoff posted 22 points of his own by making 7-of-13 buckets and getting to the charity stripe for a total of six free throws, all of which he converted on.

Freshman guard Tyler Bourne produced scoring and playmaking for his team with 20 points and six assists. He was a handful defensively as well with six steals.

Rounding out the Beavers' elite scoring was guard Blake Furcron with 20 points that helped put Pratt over the edge. The sophomore has scored 20 or more points in 3-of-4 contests that PCC has played in this year. In the game against Spring Creek Furcron was 9-of-14 from the field in only 18 minutes on the court.

As a unit the Beavers are now averaging 98.5 points per game and shooting 47.6 percent while doing so. From downtown, the blue and white have had a hot hand as well with a team average of 34 percent. These offensive numbers have a direct correlation with their overall 4-0 record so far in the 2018-19 year.

PCC men's basektball will look to continure their undefeated season when they take on OnPoint Hoops Academy on Nov. 12. Fans can see the Beavers in action at 7 p.m.
