The late season struggles continued for the Beaver basketball team with them dropping an overtime home conference game Garden City Community College.

Pratt opened the game with a double-digit lead, 17-4, following a 13-0 run. The Broncbusters widdled away at Pratt's lead, cutting it to three with just about three minutes left in the half. The Beavers closed the first with a 10-3 run, giving them a 42-32 lead at the break.

Out of the gate the Beavers again extended their lead to 14. The Broncbusters used the longball to put themselves back into the game and then some. A corner three in the final seconds of the game secured a 44-34 half for the Broncbusters, sending the game into overtime with things even at 76.

Garden City won the game 85-81, outscoring the Beavers 9-5 in extra minutes.

The conference loss increases Pratt's losing streak to five and leaves them 4-14 in the conference.

Teddy Fifer III had a massive night for the Beavers, scoring 25 points.
