Beavers cut ten-point halftime deficit in win against NKTC

Coming off of a tough overtime loss to Garden City, the Pratt Community College men's basketball team picked up a much needed win at Goodland Saturday. The conference win over Northwest Kansas Technical College improved the Beavers conference record to 5-14.

Overall, it was a great night for the Beavers who came out sluggish in the first half. They went into the break trailing 39-29. Pratt rallied in the second, scoring 46 points to take the game 75-72.

Teddy Fifer II had an outstanding night for Pratt, making 11 of 23 fieldgoals to finish the night with 29 points- he also had six rebounds and three assists. Blake Furcron finished with 16 points and one rebound while Drew Maschoff added 12 points, two rebounds and two assists.

The Beavers continue their conference run at Dodge City Community College Wednesday. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
