PCC Men win third straight

The Pratt Community College men's basketball team ended the regular season on a three-game tear, defeating Colby Community College on senior night. The longball was the Beaver's weapon of choice in the 91-74 win over the Trojans.

PCC jumped out to a 12-6 lead to start the game, but the Trojans tied the game scoring six consecutive points in the paint. Tyvon Taylor ended the run with a corner three that would spark a 10-3 run for the Beavers. The continued to shoot the ball well, leading by as much as 24.

The Trojans ended the first half with a buzzer-beating three, cutting Pratt's lead 47-28. They ended the first half with five three-pointers.

The Beavers came out sluggish in the second- after draining another three, they went two full minutes without a basket. Colby, on the other hand, opened the half on an 11-3 run to put them back in the game.

The three-ball continued to be Pratt's weapon of choice. The drained six more in the second half, never letting Colby pull within single digits. The Beavers won the game 91-74, pushing their win streak to three.

They finished the regular season with an overall record of 14-16 and a conference record of 7-14.
