PCC men’s soccer falls to Cloud County on the road

The Pratt Community College men's soccer team faced Cloud County Community College for a conference matchup in Concorida, Kan. PCC came in to the game looking for their first conference win of the season. Pratt fell short to their conference rivals in the end with Cloud County taking the victory 5-0.

Freshman Clayton Scott was in net for the Beavers during the entire contest. Although PCC conceded five goals during the duration of the match, Scott had 8 saves.

Four different Beavers had shots on goal during the game. The most promising attempt for Pratt came when forward Joe Brett headed a ball that went just wide of the goal post.

Pratt allowed two quick goals in the first 15 minutes of the half which put them behind early. Defensively PCC stopped Cloud County from scoring the rest of the first period. Unfortunately Pratt could not put their own numbers up on the scoreboard either. Cloud County found a way put up three more goals in the second half. This ultimately contributed to a 5-0 loss for the Beavers.
