Pratt Community College sophomore Francesco D'Aulerio has been named the Men's Soccer Player of the Week by the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference. The honor has been awarded to D'Aulerio for week nine, which is the final 7-day stretch of the regular season.

While playing both the midfielder and forward positions, D'Aulerio was recognized for his excellence in two away contests against McPherson College Junior Varsity and Hesston College. During the week, the sophomore tallied up a total of four goals and an assist.

During the game at Hesston, D'Aulerio looked to put a hole in the opposition's back net as he scored three goals in just the first 45 minutes of play. In the second half against the Larks, he put away one more goal to build on his hat trick performance.

D'Aulerio made an impact without scoring against McPherson. The sophomore assisted on a difference-making goal for his team that led to 2-1 victory.

This season D'Aulerio has racked up a total of three assists and a team-high of 13 goals. Ten of his scores have come against conference opponents with the two most recent being against Northwest Kansas Technical College. The two finished attempts helped guide the Beavers to a spot in the Region VI tournament.

D'Aulerio and his team will compete next against No. 6 Cowley County Community College on Oct. 26. Stay tuned to gobeaversports.com for all news regarding PCC men's soccer in the postseason.
