The Pratt Community College men's soccer team wrapped up the 2018 season with a Region VI contest against No. 6 Cowley College. With the final result being a loss, the Beavers were eliminated from postseason play at the end of 90 minutes. Cowley took the victory at home 7-2 over Pratt.

Both sides produced attempts to score within the first 15 minutes of the half. A stalemate took place until the Cowley struck in the 16 minute mark. The Tigers went on to post five first-half goals against the Beavers.

A bad start plagued the Beavers, but PCC managed to keep even in the second half. The blue and white allowed another two goals during the final 45 minute period, but netted two scores of their own. A five goal deficit however proved to be too much to overcome.

During the second half, defender Rhys Farrow-Blance earned the first Beaver goal on an assist from forward Francesco D'Aulerio. The score came in the sixty-second minute of play.

The Beavers also scored the last goal of the contest. Defender Scott Clark booted in a rebounded shot from the post in minute 76 for the final goal of 2018.

PCC men's soccer will look to build on their accomplishments in the 2019 season. Stay tuned to gobeaversports.com for all men's soccer related news during the offseason.
