Garden City, Kan. - This past Saturday, April 2 the Pratt Community College (PCC) Beavers traveled to Garden City, KS for the Broncbuster Invite. This was the fourth outdoor meet of the season and the teams first at a regional opponent. The Beavers will travel to Wichita State University (WSU) this coming Friday and Saturday, April 8-9 for the KT Woodman Classic at Cessna Stadium.
Top performers for the Beavers were freshman Collin Turley who won the men's 5000m run with a time of 16.46.31. The men's 4x400m relay team took first place with at time of 3.31.37. Last, but certainty not least sophomore Kenny McCartney won the javelin throw with a distance of 29.95m.
