The Pratt Community College women's basketball team dropped their third straight conference game Monday night. The 75-62 loss to Hutchinson Community College left the Lady Beavers with a 9-8 conference record.
It was a tight first quarter with the Lady Beavers taking a slight, 16-15 advantage. They would lead by as much as six in the second, but the Blue Dragons turned the tables with a 16 point quarter to take a 30-29 lead into the break.
The third quarter was very competitive with leading 41-39 with just under three minutes left. An 11-2 run by the Blue Dragons in the final minutes pushed them over the top, letting them take a 50-43 lead into the final quarter.
Pratt was outscored 25-19 in the fourth quarter to lose the contest 75-62.
Toni Cuellar led the scoring for the Lady Beavers, ending the night with 16 points while shooting over 70 percent from the field. ChaDricka Pickett scored 12 points and pulled down four rebounds. Courtney Cleveland rounded out the scoring, finishing with 11 points, three assists and four rebounds.
