Pratt Stays Unbeaten with 87-24 Win

PRATT, Kans.- On Veterans Day, the Beavers did their best to give the military presence inside the Beaver Dome quite a show.

Sophomore Rylee Alexander was a force on both ends of the floor, scoring a game-high 17 points on 50% shooting (7-14), also leading all players with nine rebounds. The Kansas native also led the Beavers with a trifecta of three-pointers (3-7). Sophomores Janell Douvier and ChaDricka Pickett also finished the night in double-figures, as Douvier scored 11 points, aided by a pair of threes. Pickett was an efficient five of six from the floor, ending her night with 10 points.

The Monday night win was yet again a full team effort, with every Beaver contributing to the total on the scoreboard. Pratt showed its mettle on the defensive side of the court, forcing 26 Southwestern College turnovers, 18 of which were steals. Though Pratt was only 12-26 from the free throw line, Coach Ishee's group made up for the struggles at the line by shooting 40% (11-28) from beyond the arc.

The win moves the Beavers to a perfect 4-0 record, with their immediate schedule sending them westward to Colorado to participate in the Otero Classic this weekend.
