Pratt, Kan. – Last Thursday, Jason Deel, assistant coach of the women's basketball program at Pratt Community College (PCC), submitted his resignation to the school after serving since February of 2022. Deel took a position in the Pretty Prairie school district.
“We are sad to see Coach Deel leave PCC, but happy for him in his new endeavor. For he and his family this was a good move," said Athletic Director Tim Swartzendruber. “Coach Deel is a quality person and will do well in his position in Pretty Prairie..”
During his time at PCC, Coach Deel assisted the team in defeating the then conference leading Independence Community College (ICC) Pirates. His other duties during his time were player development and recruitment.
The school will conduct an immediate search in order to target a suitable replacement.
