Women's Basketball Coach Eric Rodewald Resigns

On July 23, Eric Rodewald, head coach of the women’s basketball team and assistant athletic director at Pratt Community College, submitted his letter of resignation to the school after serving at the helm for three seasons. Rodewald has taken a high school teaching and coaching job in Texas.

“Eric Rodewald's talents both on and off the court will be missed here at PCC,” said athletic director Larry Johnston. “The PCC Athletic Department wishes him great success in his next endeavor.”

Coach Rodewald lead the team to a combined 27-63 overall record with three straight opening round appearances in the NJCAA Region Six Tournament. In addition, Coach Rodewald guided his student athletes post Pratt Community College to transfer to several schools across the NAIA and NCAA DI and DII.

As the assistant director of athletics, Eric assisted the department in compliance, academics, and letter of intents. He also served as a game day administrator and assisted with game day operations. He served as the interim athletic director from October to December this past year.
