Beavers lead nation with nine NWCA Scholar All-Americans

PRATT, Kan.- While much of the country remains barricaded, a vast quarantine hesitates to stop the spread of good news into the Pratt community. On Friday, the National Wrestling Coaches Association announced its Scholar All-American selections, and head coach Ken Kepley's group were awarded the most selections with nine.  

Among the Beavers Scholar All-Americans were national champions Michael Spangler and Jake Beeson, as well as Max Bazan, Luke Culbertson, Jacob Mitchell, Misael Monarrez, Juan Urbina, Bryce Westmoreland, and Bobby Williams

NWCA Executive Director Mike Moyer said the following regarding the announcement of the 2019-20 NJCAA Scholar All-American selections:

"On behalf of the NWCA and our Board of Directors, I am excited to honor the amazing academic achievement demonstrated by this year's Scholar All-Americans. We are proud to work with our NJCAA member coaches to honor outstanding student-athletes from across the country."
