PRATT, Kan.- What was a magical 2019 season for the Beavers cross country program ended with yet another sprinkle of something special.
Two Beavers, Patricia Koma and Erick Estrada, received Coaches Assocation All-American honors following the conclusion of the 2019 NJCAA Half-Marathon Championships. Koma finished the half-marathon with a time of 1:31:49.3, placing her 16th in the women's field, while Estrada finished 20th with a time of 1:17:56.4.
Among the other Beavers to place on the men's side were Daniel Arredondo, who finished 34th with a time of 1:24:00.4, and Uwimana Rukundo who ended the race 38th overall with a time of 1:25.15.0. Jamie De La Torre placed 30th on the women's side, clocking in at 1:43:14.2.
