  • PCC baseball wraps up season with road series at Southeast Nebraska Community College
    April 30, 2018
    The 2018 season for Pratt Community College baseball comes to an end with a three game road series against Southeast Nebraska Community College. PCC battled Southeast in three hard fought games. In the end it came down to the third and final game where the Beavers fell behind Southeast and came up short in the ninth. PCC takes one of the three games in the series.
  • PCC baseball clashes with NOC-Enid in a mid-week matchup
    April 25, 2018
    Pratt Community College baseball traveled to Enid, OK for a mid-week game against Northern Oklahoma College-Enid. The Beavers fell behind early, but gained runs in the middle innings to close the lead. NOC-Enid’s offense added to the lead and the defense countered the Pratt rally. PCC loses to NOC-Enid 7-15.
  • PCC baseball faces Hutchinson CC in a Sophomore Day double header
    April 22, 2018
    Pratt Community College baseball closed out the home portion of the 2018 schedule with a Sophomore Day double header against Hutchinson Community College. The long ball was the story of the day as the ball sailed at Stanion Field. The first game was a high scoring battle until a big inning by Hutchinson in the seventh secured the win. Scoring woes plagued the Beavers in game two as Hutchinson capitalized for the win. PCC loses both games to Hutchinson 8-18 in game one and 4-20 in game two.
  • PCC baseball begins four game series against Hutchinson CC
    April 20, 2018
    Pratt Community College baseball began a four game series against Hutchinson Community College to wrap up KJCCC play for the 2018 season. The first two games were a double header hosted by Hutchinson. Scoring woes plagued the Beavers in both games. Hutchinson capitalized and used their pitching to hold off Pratt and take the first two games in the series. PCC falls 1-7 in game on and 2-12 in game two.
  • PCC baseball faces NOC-Enid in mid-week matchup
    April 17, 2018
    The Pratt Community College baseball team returned to Stanion Field for a mid-week matchup with Northern Oklahoma College-Enid on April 17. NOC-Enid came out swinging and took an early lead over PCC. A big inning in the fifth gave the Beavers life to fight back. Following the fifth inning, Pratt added runs in the sixth and eighth, but came up short. PCC loses to NOC-Enid 8-14.
  • PCC baseball closes out four game series with Garden City CC
    April 16, 2018
    Pratt Community College baseball wrapped up their four game series with Garden City Community College with a double header in Garden City, Kan. The Beavers and Broncbusters battled in two tightly contested games. In the end, Garden City used the home field advantage to take both games in walk-off fashion. PCC drops two heartbreakers to Garden City 5-6 in game three in the series and 11-12 in game four.

    Pratt Community College baseball player Eric Escamilla has been selected as the KJCCC baseball player of the week for week 10 of the 2018 baseball season.
  • PCC baseball starts a four game series with Garden City CC
    April 12, 2018
    Pratt Community College baseball began a four game series against Garden City Community College. The Beavers hosted the first double header from Stanion Field. Game one saw Pratt and Garden City slug it out in a tightly contested matchup. A pair of Garden City runs in the sixth inning gave the Broncbusters the lead. The Blue and White got a run back in the seventh, but the rally fell short. PCC drops the first game 4-5. Game two was a continuation of the first until the middle innings. A big inning at the plate for Garden City in the fifth inning gave them the cushion they needed to hold on for the win. PCC loses the second game 7-18.
  • PCC splits four game series with Dodge City CC
    April 08, 2018
    Pratt Community College baseball returned to Stanion Field to wrap up a four game series with Dodge City Community College. The Beavers fell behind early in the third game in the series. Pratt scored runs in the fourth inning, but could not mount a comeback. PCC falls 2-9 in game three. In the fourth game, the Blue and White took an early lead in the second inning. Dodge City responded to take the lead in the fifth, only for Pratt to answer with four runs in the bottom half of the inning to take a 7-6 lead. Dodge City mounted a late rally scoring runs in the eighth and ninth innings, but the rally fell short. PCC takes the win in game four 11-10 to split the series at two games each. 
  • PCC baseball and Dodge City split first half of four game series

    Pratt Community College baseball and Dodge City Community College battled in the first two games of a four game series. With the first two games in Dodge City, the Beavers rallied for five runs in the sixth inning to take a 12-9 lead. Dodge City added a pair of runs in the seventh, but Pratt held on to take the game 1 win at 12-11.
  • PCC baseball sweeps Bethany College JV in a high scoring double header

    A blustery day at Stanion Field turned the double header between Pratt Community College Baseball and Bethany College JV into a high scoring affair. Using the wind as an advantage, the Beavers and Swedes scored runs in droves. In the end, Pratt gets the sweep winning 23-13 in the first game and 32-15 in the second game against Bethany.
  • PCC baseball finishes series with #15 Barton CC
    April 01, 2018
    Pratt Community College baseball wrapped up a four-game series with #15 Barton Community College with a double header in Great Bend, Kan. The bats were cold for the Beavers in the third game of the series. Pratt loses 3-9 in game 3. The offensive woes for the Blue and White were gone for the final game in the series. A five run fifth inning allowed Pratt to take the lead. Barton rallied in the seventh and eighth innings to retake the lead and secure the win. PCC falls in game 4, 11-19.
  • PCC baseball begins a four game series with Barton CC
    March 29, 2018
    Pratt Community College baseball returned to Stanion Field to begin a four-game series with #15 Barton Community College. The Beavers and Barton used the long ball to their advantage in the double header. In the first game, a three-run home run by Carl Cooper gave Pratt the edge over Barton for a 5-3 win. Game 2 saw Pratt and Barton trade runs in the early innings. Big innings in the fourth and eighth allowed Barton to take the lead and secure the win. PCC loses the second game 6-13.
  • PCC baseball get road win over Hesston College
    March 28, 2018
    PCC baseball hit the road for a midweek matchup against Hesston College. The Beavers took an early lead bringing home nine runs in the first five innings. Hesston rallied in the bottom of the fifth with seven runs to bring the lead down to a single run. Pratt would not be stopped and continued adding runs to the lead scoring in each inning of the game. PCC takes the win over Hesston 16-9.
  • PCC baseball closes out series with Butler CC
    March 24, 2018
    Pratt Community College baseball traveled to El Dorado, Kan. to finish their four-game series with Butler Community College. The Beavers gave up runs to Butler in the third inning of game three. PCC rallied with runs in the fourth and fifth innings, but the rally came up short. PCC falls in the third game in the series 4-5. In the fourth game, Butler took an early lead. Pratt took the lead by scoring five runs through the first six innings. A late rally by Butler allowed them to tie the game in the bottom of the fifth and take the lead in the bottom of the eighth. PCC drops a close game 4, 5-7.

    March 23, 2018
    Pratt Community College baseball returned to Stanion Field to begin a four-game series with Butler Community College. The Beaver bats came alive against Butler in both games, but a late game rally in game 2 ended the double header in a split with each team taking a game. PCC takes game 1 by the score of 7-2, but fall in game 2 10-12.
  • PCC baseball concludes Cloud County CC series

    Pratt Community College baseball traveled to Concordia, Kan. to wrap up a four game series with Cloud County Community College. After falling in the first two games of the series, the Beavers looked to even thing up on the road. Game 3 was a defensive stand still for most of the game with neither team budging. Cloud broke the deadlock with runs in the fifth and sixth innings. Pratt loses in Game 3 0-6. The Blue and White came out in Game 4 and quickly claimed a lead. A big inning by Cloud in the third allowed the T-Birds to take the lead. Pratt mounted a rally in the seventh inning, but could not retake the lead. PCC drops Game 4 to Cloud 5-6.
  • PCC baseball begins four game series with Cloud County CC

    Pratt Community College baseball returned to Stanion Field to begin a four game series against Cloud County Community College. The first game of the series saw the Beavers struggle at the plate. Cloud scored runs in the third and seventh innings. Pratt tried to rally, but the Cloud defense held. PCC falls 1-6 in Game 1. The Blue and White jumped out to an early lead in Game 2 with three runs in the first inning and adding to the lead in the sixth. Cloud rallied in the seventh to take the lead. Pratt got a run back in the bottom half of the second before the offense stalled. PCC drops the second game 6-8.
  • PCC baseball travels to Cowley College for a mid-week matchup

    Pratt Community College traveled to Arkansas City, Kan. for a single game against Cowley College. The Beavers faced Cowley in a tightly contested game. Cowley took the lead in the fifth inning and added two runs in the sixth and eighth to hold on to the win. PCC falls 6-9.
  • PCC wraps up four game series with Colby CC
    March 10, 2018
    Pratt Community College baseball returned to Stanion Field to conclude a four game series against Colby Community College. Colby had taken the first two games in the series and the Beavers looked to even things up on their home field. Pratt roared out to 10-1 lead by the third inning of Game 3 and never looked back. PCC takes Game 3 14-1. In the fourth game, the Blue and White fought Colby to a 3-3 tie through three innings. Colby took and extended the lead. Going into the ninth, Pratt mounted a rally that fell short of claiming the win. PCC falls 7-11 in Game 4.

    Pratt Community College baseball closed out a five game road stretch with a double header against Colby Community College. In game 1, the Beavers fought to the end falling on a walk-off, three run home run. Game 2 had Pratt battling to avenge the loss in the first game. Colby used three home runs in the fifth inning to dash the hopes of a split double header. Pratt drops both games going 0-2 in the double header.
  • PCC baseball gets road win against Kansas Wesleyan JV

    Pratt Community College baseball hit the mid-way point of their five game road stretch. The Beavers faced Kansas Wesleyan JV in Salina, Kan. Pratt relied on their bats to take the lead in the third inning and never looked back. PCC takes the win 14-3.

    Pratt Community College baseball traveled to Liberal, Kan. to wrap up the second half of their four game series with Seward County Community College. The Beavers ran into Seward offense that came alive in the final two games of the series. PCC gets swept in the double header splitting the series at 2-2.
  • PCC baseball starts conference play with two game sweep of Seward CC

    Pratt Community College baseball began the month of March with the start of KJCCC conference play. The Beavers hosted Seward County Community College at Stanion Field for the beginning of a four game, home and home series. Pratt won the double header sweep taking the first two games of the series.
  • PCC baseball faces NOC-Tonkawa in a four game series

    Pratt Community College baseball got back to action with a four game, home and home series against Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa. The Beavers clashed with the Mavericks over the course of the series, but could not string together the runs to get wins. PCC gets swept 0-4.
  • PCC baseball splits weekend series with Iowa Lakes CC

    Pratt Community College baseball wrapped up a six game home stand with a four game series against Iowa Lakes Community College over the weekend of Feb. 17 and 18. In a tale of two days, the Beavers extended their win streak to four games before splitting with Iowa Lakes to end the series. PCC takes two out of four games against Iowa Lakes.
  • PCC baseball routs Hesston College
    February 14, 2018
    After a weather canceled weekend series, the Pratt Community College baseball team hosted Hesston College at Stanion Field. The bats came alive for the Beavers against Hesston. PCC takes a resounding win, 10-0 in seven innings.
  • PCC baseball wins 2018 opener against Kansas Wesleyan University JV

    Pratt Community College baseball started the 2018 season with a game against Kansas Wesleyan University JV. The Beaver offense was explosive against KWU putting runs up in five of seven innings. PCC takes the win 14-4 in seven innings.
