Pratt, Kan.- Pratt Community College (PCC) is set to face the Hutchinson Community College (HCC) Blue Dragons in a four-game series this Thursday, April 28 and Saturday, April 30. The first two games are scheduled to be played in Hutchinson, KS with game one starting at 1:00 pm. The Beavers will then host the Blue Dragons on Saturday, April 30 to finish the series. Game time is scheduled for 1:00 pm.

Quick Hitters
Picked up two wins against the Garden City Broncbusters this past week. The Beavers won game two 5-3 and then won game four of the series 11-9.
Pratt is 12-14 on the road this season as they look to pick up a couple wins on the road to start the series against the Blue Dragons
The Beavers will host a sophomore recognition ceremony between games on Saturday. Pratt only has two home series remaining during the regular season.
Sophomore Caleb Cude pitched deep into game one last Thursday against the Broncbusters. On the season Cude has a 5.83 ERA and averages 11.97 strikeouts per nine innings.
Marcelo Aguirre has continued to be a solid bat for the Beavers with a .362 average with 51 hits, 47 RBIs, and five home runs. As a two-way player he currently has an 8.42 ERA while averaging 6.94 strikeouts per nine innings.
Shortstop Josue Vazquez has 87 putouts, 31 assists, and 11 errors this season. At the plate Vazquez is hitting .296 with 42 hits and 19 RBIs.
Scouting the Blue Dragons
Hutch is 27-20 overall and 13-11 in conference play. They are currently fifth in the conference standings. They are 11-7 at home and 16-11 on the road this season.
Blue Dragons are currently on a two-game winning streak after sweeping Sterling College (JV) on Monday, April 25. Last week Hutch split a four-game series against the Colby Trojans.
As a team the Blue Dragons are hitting .306 with 53 homeruns. Sophomore Ben McLaughlin leads the team hitting .396 with 63 hits, 60 RBIs, and 13 homeruns.
The pitching unit for Hutch has a combined 6.95 ERA with 368 strikeouts this season. The unit is averaging 9.66 strikeouts per nine innings.
