Track and Field Finish Weekend with 5 Top Five Finishes at Coach Wilson Invitational

Pratt, Kan. - The Pratt Community College track and field team was back in action this past weekend, January 31-February 2 at the Coach Wilson Invitational hosted by Wichita State University. The team finished the weekend with five top 5 finishes and two top 10 finishes.  

In the men's 60M dash, Tavares Duckett finished fourth overall with a time of 6.79. Sophomore Jaden Sawyers finished third in the 400M dash with a time of 50.94 while Tramaine Nottage finished seventh with a time of 51.67. In the long jump, Zechariah Ebron finished second with a jump of 14.04m. On the women's side Noa Turner finished fifth in the 60M dash with a time of 7.96 while Bravynn Taleb finished tenth in the 400M dash with a time of 1:03.98.  

Sophomore Aiden Skiles competed in the men's heptathlon and finished third overall. Skiles finished fourth in the 60M dash, sixth in the long jump, second in the shot put, fourth in the high jump, fifth in the 60M hurdles, fifth in the pole vault, and first in the 1000M with a time of 2:50.96.  

Up next for the Beavers will be a trip out to Topeka, Kan. for the Ichabod Invitational on February 14-15 hosted by Washburn University
