  • PCC women's basketball coach John Ishee to speak at Wichita East High School
    June 15, 2018
    On June 26, head women’s basketball coach John Ishee is to speak at Wichita East High School from 9 AM to 11 AM. Brian Johnson, who two seasons ago took Wichita West to the state semi-finals for the first time in over 40 years in route to their first winning season since 2006, has invited Ishee to address their camp on the values of  education, basketball, teamwork, discipline, competitiveness, and citizenship.
  • PCC winter sports student athletes named to KJCCC all-conference teams

    The Jayhawk Conference has announced the award winners for the 2017-18 winter sports. Several Pratt Community College student athletes were selected as some of the best athletes in the KJCCC.
  • PCC women's basketball season ends against Hutchinson CC

    Pratt Community College women’s basketball started the KJCCC tournament with a road game against Hutchinson Community College. The Beavers could not counter Hutchinson’s high scoring offense as the Blue Dragons took an early lead and controlled the pace to take the win. Pratt’s season comes to an end as PCC loses to Hutchinson 22-82.
  • PCC women's basketball drops game to Cowley CC

    Pratt Community College women’s basketball celebrated Sophomore Day with a matchup against Cowley College. The Beavers fought and controlled the lead for much of the game, however a last period scoring drought allowed Cowley to climb back and take the win. PCC falls 54-63.

    The Pratt Community College women’s basketball team began a two game home stand with a matchup against Barton Community College. Scoring woes in the second period proved too much for the Beavers to come back from. PCC loses to Barton 45-70.

    Pratt Community College women’s basketball traveled to El Dorado, Kan. for a matchup against Butler Community College. Scoring woes in the second period cost the Beavers against Butler. PCC loses to Butler 41-61.

    Pratt Community College women’s basketball hosted Garden City Community College for a Valentine’s Day showdown. The Beavers met a hot Garden City offense that would not be denied. PCC loses 39-71.
  • PCC women's basketball drops close game to Colby CC
    February 12, 2018
    The Pratt Community College women’s basketball team hit the road to face Colby Community College. Scoring droughts by the Beavers in the first and third periods proved too much to overcome in spite of outscoring Colby in the second and fourth periods. PCC drops a close one to Colby 47-54.
  • PCC women's basketball defends the Dome against Neosho CC

    Pratt Community College women’s basketball defended the Dome against Neosho County Community College on Feb. 7. The Beavers and Neosho battled in a tightly contested game. In the end, Pratt used an 18-1 run in the final period to take the win, 68-60.
  • PCC women's basketball falls on the road to Coffeyville CC

    Pratt Community College women’s basketball traveled to Coffeyville, Kan. to face Coffeyville Community College. The Beavers had a hot first half controlling the pace of the game and holding the lead. The Coffeyville offense came alive out of the locker room at half, and Pratt could not contain Coffeyville’s scoring. PCC falls 48-60.

    Pratt Community College women’s basketball concluded their two game home stand against Seward County Community College on Jan. 31. The Beavers struggled with Seward’s length and fell behind early. PCC falls to Seward CC 48-97.
  • Scoring woes plague PCC WBB against Cloud County
    January 28, 2018
    The Pratt Community College women’s basketball team began the first of a two game home stand on Jan. 27. First up for the Beavers was a matchup with Cloud County Community College. An early scoring drought by Pratt provided the opening Cloud needed to take the lead. The Blue and White tried to rally in the second and third period, but could not overcome the deficit. PCC loses to Cloud 37-58.

    The Pratt Community College women’s basketball team traveled north to Hutchinson, Kan. to face the Blue Dragons of Hutchinson Community College. High scoring offense in the first and third periods proved to be the difference for Hutchinson. PCC loses 47-71.

    The Pratt Community College women's basketball team traveled to Independence, Kan. to face Independence Community College in a game rescheduled due to weather. A huge scoring period by Independence proved too much for the Beavers to overcome. PCC loses 41-87.
  • PCC women's basketball drops close game to Dodge City CC
    January 21, 2018
    After a postponed game on Wednesday, the Pratt Community College women’s basketball team returned to action hosting Dodge City Community College. After a scoring drought in the second period, the Beavers scrapped together and mounted a comeback in the second half. In the final minute of play, the comeback came up short. PCC drops a heartbreaker to Dodge City 54-59.
  • PCC basketball at Independence CC cancelled
    January 17, 2018
    Due to technical issues with the heating in the ICC Fieldhouse, tonights men's and women's basketball games at Independence Community College have been cancelled. The games have been rescheduled for Monday, January 22.
  • PCC women's basketball gets conference win against Allen County
    January 15, 2018
    Pratt Community College women’s basketball returned to the Dennis Lesh Sports Arena to host Allen County Community College on Jan. 13. The Beavers used a high scoring first half of 42 points to gain the lead and secure the win. PCC defeats Allen County 74-62.
  • PCC women's basketball falls to Cowley

    Pratt Community College women’s basketball rounded out their two game road stretch by traveling to Arkansas City, Kan. to face Cowley Community College. Scoring woes plagued the Beavers for the first half against Cowley. PCC loses to Cowley 33-78.
  • PCC women's basketball faces road test against Barton CC

    Pratt Community College women’s basketball traveled to Great Bend, Kan. to face Barton Community College. The Beavers fell behind early, but managed to battle back in the second period with 17 points. Scoring woes in the second half provided the buffer that Barton needed to secure the win. PCC falls to Barton 51-79.
  • PCC women's basketball falls to Butler CC
    January 04, 2018
    Pratt Community College women’s basketball returned after the holiday break to host Butler Community College in the Dennis Lesh Sports Arena. The Beavers suffered a second period scoring drought that Butler used to secure the win. PCC loses to Butler 42-74.

    Pratt Community College women’s basketball closed out 2017 on the road against Garden City Community College. Scoring woe’s plagued the Beavers against Garden City. PCC falls to Garden City 42-58.

    The Pratt Community College women’s basketball team returned to the Dennis Lesh Sports Arena for a game against Colby Community College. The Beavers offense could not find a rhythm against Colby as Pratt struggled to score. PCC falls to Colby 47-66.
  • PCC men's and women's basketball help serve at Pratt Thanksgiving Dinner

    The Pratt Community College men’s and women’s basketball teams spent their Thanksgiving morning serving meals to the Pratt community. Hosted at the Municipal Building in downtown Pratt, the annual Thanksgiving Day dinner was a great opportunity for the players and coaches to interact with the community.

    Pratt Community College women’s basketball traveled to Chanute, Kan. to take on Neosho Community College. The Beavers battled with Neosho and kept the score close for the first half. Neosho’s offense used a high scoring third quarter to gain the edge they needed to secure the win. PCC falls to Neosho CC 66-84.
  • PCC women's basketball falls short against Coffeyville CC
    November 30, 2017
    The Pratt Community College women’s basketball team returned to Dennis Lesh Sports Arena for a matchup against Coffeyville Community College. The Beavers controlled the lead in the first half using a zone defense to force Coffeyville to shoot from range. Coffeyville took the lead in the third quarter leading to Pratt attempting a rally in the fourth quarter. The rally fell short as PCC falls to Coffeyville 61-65.

    Pratt Community College women’s basketball traveled to Liberal, Kan. for a matchup against Seward County Community College. The high scoring offense of Seward gave the Beavers defense trouble all game. PCC falls to Seward 32-81.
  • PCC women's basketball faces road test against Cloud CC
    November 22, 2017
    The Pratt Community College women’s basketball team traveled to Concordia, Kan. for a matchup against Cloud County Community College. The Beavers ran into the tight defense of Cloud, which keyed in on forcing turnovers. Pratt trailed by seven at the half and could not close the margin in the second half. PCC falls to Cloud 41-58.
  • PCC women's basketball falls to Hutchinson CC
    November 20, 2017
    Pratt Community College women’s basketball held a White Out game against Hutchinson Community College. Offensive lulls and scoring droughts by the Beavers in the middle quarters gave Hutchinson the edge they needed to take the lead and secure the win. PCC falls to Hutchinson 31-64.
  • PCC women's basketball's first road test against Dodge City CC
    November 16, 2017
    Pratt Community College women’s basketball faced their first road test of the season traveling to face Dodge City Community College. Shooting woes plagued the Beavers against Dodge City. PCC falls to Dodge City 34-44.
  • PCC women's basketball faces Independence CC in first KJCCC matchup of the season
    November 13, 2017
    The Pratt Community College women’s basketball team concluded their four game home stand with a game against Independence Community College. In the first KJCCC matchup of the year, the Beavers fought hard against a lengthy and tall Independence team. Independence held the lead for much of the game with Pratt just trailing behind. The Blue and White went on a late run to bring the game to a single possession in the final minutes. Free throw shooting by Independence secured the victory in the end as PCC falls to Independence 59-63.
