
The Beaver wrestling team competed at the Jayhawk Duals on January 29 in Salina, KS. The team dualed Cloud County, Northwest Tech, Colby, and Barton throughout the day. They defeated all four teams. At the end of the duals the Pratt wrestling team had won their third straight Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Championship. In addition, Head Wrestling Coach Ken Kepley was named KJCCC Coach of the Year. Devon Dawson was name the KJCC Most Outstanding Wrestler and Easton Taylor was named KJCCC Newcomer of the Year.
"I am extremely proud of our wrestling program. Not only are they successful on the mat but they are active in the community and do a great job in the classroom," said Athletic Director Tim Swartzendruber. "To win three straight conference championships is a testament to the hard work of Coach Kepley. We appreciate all he does for our wrestling program and PCC."
