Pratt, Kan. – The Pratt Community College (PCC) volleyball team battled the #17 ranked Hutchinson Community College (HCC) Blue Dragons last night in the Beaver Dome.
Like the previous match, the Beavers came out with a lot of energy as the first set was a back and forth battle. Hutch was able to pull ahead and win the set 25-15. The following two sets both started slower for the Beavers. The Blue Dragons were able to pull ahead with larger leads and won set two (25-11) and set three (25-12) to win the match 3-0.
Sophomore Brooke Tholen had eight digs and one serve ace in the match. As a team, Pratt had 83 total attacks, but had a zero percent kill percentage do to an equaling out of 20 kills and 20 errors. The Beavers will look to right that wrong and pick up their first conference win on Saturday as they host Garden City Community College (GCCC). Match time is set for 2:00 pm.
