The 2023-24 school year will be Jake Hart’s 2nd year at Pratt Community College as the Head Athletic Trainer.

Prior to coming to PCC, Jake spent 6 years at Mid-America Orthopedics as the Durable Medical Equipment coordinator. He worked under Dr. Strickland, MD and Dr. Babb, MD while outreaching to Rose Hill High School and Eisenhower High School as the athletic trainer. In 2004 he moved to Ocala Florida, to work at Strive! Physical Therapy and outreached to Forest High School. In 2007, he became the Head Athletic Trainer at Lake-Sumter State College in Leesburg, FL. Jake was the assistant athletic trainer at Coffeyville Community College under Rick King from 2001-2004.

Jake graduated from Hutchinson Community College and Emporia State University and has a master’s degree in sports psychology.

Jake is a native of Kingman, KS, where he resides today. He and his wife Cari have a son Jaxon, a step daughter Chloe, and step daughter Cady with grandson Maverick.
