Cheer Team Receives Fourth Straight Bid to NCA College Nationals

The Pratt Community College cheer team recently attended the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) college camp at Northwest Missouri State University last week and did not disappoint. The talented group of athletes showcased their skills and dedication, ultimately bringing home several awards and earning a silver bid to NCA College Nationals in April.

The team kicked off their camp experience with the crowd segment, where they truly stood out from the competition. Their synchronized movements, high-energy routines, and perfectly executed stunts wowed the judges and secured them the coveted first-place position.

But the team didn't stop there. They also participated in the crowd run-offs, where they had to compete against other top-performing teams. Their unwavering determination and extraordinary teamwork paid off once again, as they emerged victorious and secured their spot in the final round.

In the rally segment, the team continued to impress. Their spirited chants, intricate formations, and impressive tumbling passes left the audience in awe. Although they faced fierce competition, the cheer team's unwavering enthusiasm and flawless execution earned them a well-deserved second-place finish. Bucky the Beaver did not disappoint either, winning several awards.

The team's hard work and dedication throughout the camp did not go unnoticed. Their exceptional performance not only earned them multiple awards but also a silver bid to nationals. This prestigious bid is a testament to their talent and serves as an invitation to compete at the national level against the best cheer teams from across the country.

The silver bid to nationals is a remarkable achievement for the team, as it showcases their ability to compete at the highest level. It is a testament to the countless hours of practice, sweat, and determination that they have poured into their craft. This is the teams fourth straight bid to the NCA College Nationals in Daytona Beach, FL.

The team's success at camp and their silver bid to nationals are not only a reflection of their talent but also a testament to their coaches' guidance and support. The coaches' dedication to the team's growth and development has undoubtedly played a significant role in their achievements. Head Coach Shae Napier has pushed the team to reach new heights and have instilled in them the values of hard work, perseverance, and teamwork.
