The Beavers traveled to Montgomery County for the second straight week to face Coffeyville on February 22. Both teams meet back on January 7 with Pratt winning 63-62 in the Beaver Dome.  

In the first ten minutes of play, there were seven lead changes and six ties as Coffeyville lead 20-19 with 10:05 left in the half. By the 5:15 mark of the first half the Red Ravens had built an 11-point lead 36-25. Pratt was able to cut the lead to nine points 44-35 at half. Coffeyville outscored the Beavers 43-39 in the second half. By the 14:57 mark of the second half Pratt had cut the Red Raven led to three 52-49. A few minutes later, Coffeyville had re-built their commanding lead back 63-51. Pratt was never able to pull close enough as Coffeyville rolled to a 87-74 victory.  

Chidiebere Obichere led the team with 20 points. Sterling Young finished with 16 points while Quintin Metcalf had 14 points. Jaylen Davis finished the game with 10 points. The Beavers were only outrebounding by one and turned the ball over two more times than Coffeyville did. Pratt will look to get back in the win column on Saturday, January 25 as they face Dodge City. Gametime is set for 4:00 pm with sophomore recognition taking place beforehand.
