The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) has named 5 PCC softball players as All-America Scholar Athletes for the 2016-2017 school year. These student athletes were awarded based on their combined consecutive GPA's for the fall of 2016 and the spring of 2017. The Beavers are represented on the list of award winners by:
Sophomores:
- Bailey Bryson
- Emma Hall
- Molly Miller
- Karly Smith
And Freshman:
- Taylor Carey
The group were recognized for its academic prowess in achieving the awards at the July 17th PCC Board meeting.
