Weather ends PCC men's soccer opener with a draw

Weather ended the 2017 season opener early for the PCC men's soccer team's match at Rose State. The 70 minute shortened match ended in a draw for both teams with neither team scoring a goal. Final score for the match was 0-0.

The Beavers generated chances throughout the game getting four shots on goal. Defensively, the Blue and White allowed only six shots on goal for the game. Starting goalie Louis Sharp led the PCC defense with three saves.

"An excellent opening game against a strong Rose State team," PCC head men's soccer coach Kevin Kewley said. "The defense was solid. Offensively we created chances, but could not score. Overall, I'm impressed by the opening game performance."

PCC men's soccer looks to get a decision in the home opener against Coffeyville Community College on Sunday Aug. 27. Kickoff for the match will be at 5 p.m.
