PCC men's soccer gets home win against Hesston College

Pratt Community College men's soccer finished their home stand with a match against Hesston College. Franchesco D'Aurelio opened up the scoring for the Beavers in the first half. The Blue and White never looked back after taking the lead. After adding two more goals to the lead in the second half, PCC takes a 3-0 win over Hesston.

The Beavers used a strong offensive attack to apply pressure on Hesston. The Pratt offense broke through the Hesston defense when D'Aurelio scored the first goal of the game. Aaron Grant scored a goal halfway through the second half to extend the lead to 2-0. A Nathan Wilson goal in the final 10 minutes of the game sealed the victory for the Blue and White.

Wilson was player of the game for Pratt. He ended the match with four shots, a goal, and an assist. Just behind Wilson was D'Aurelio with three shots and a goal. Sam Hatungiami-Irakoze and Mosies Diaz had a pair of shots each. Goalkeeper Martin Equivel led the Beavers between the pipes with four saves.

The 3-0 win over Hesston avenges a 3-4 loss to the Larks earlier this season.
