Kylan Wess broke his personal best time with a time of 31:10.7. Another personal best that was broken came from Joshua Mitchell with a time of 35:04.7.

"Because of the heavy rain and storms Friday night, the course was muddy throughout," head coach Eric Larson said. "There was a water obstacle that was ankle to shin deep that the women ran through twice and guys three times. Times on the course were slower than normal overall. Ami was our top placer finishing 20th overall in the women's race. I was happy with her performance. On the guys' side, Kylan Wess ran a strong race and broke his personal best 8K time. Joshua Michell ran a personal best in the 8K as well."

PCC cross country next runs in the Ollie Isom Invitational on Oct. 16 in El Dorado, Kan. The evening race will start at 4:30 p.m.
