PCC men's soccer falls to Cloud

Pratt Community College men's soccer hit the road to face Cloud County Community College. After falling behind in the first half, the Beavers tried to rally in the second half. The rally fell short as PCC loses 1-4.

The Blue and White fell behind in the first half heading into the locker room down 0-4. Pratt played with determination in the second half to climb out of the deficit. Cloud's goalkeeper Charles Albuquerque stood tall against the Beavers with four saves. PCC's Nathan Wilson added a goal in the final 15 minutes of the match, but the rally ended there for the Beavers.

Wilson led the offensive attack for Pratt. He ended the match with three shots, two shots on goal, and a goal. Aaron Grant added an assist on the Wilson goal. Louis Sharp came up with four saves in the match for the Beavers. Player of the game goes to Cloud's Luiz Garcia who had a pair of goals.

PCC men's soccer returns home for a match against Dodge City on Oct. 12. Kickoff for the match is set for 4 p.m.
