PCC women's basketball faces road test against Barton CC

Pratt Community College women's basketball traveled to Great Bend, Kan. to face Barton Community College. The Beavers fell behind early, but managed to battle back in the second period with 17 points. Scoring woes in the second half provided the buffer that Barton needed to secure the win. PCC falls to Barton 51-79.

The Blue and White saw great play from their guards against Barton. Rebecca Younis led the way with 13 points, four rebounds, three steals and an assist. Channa Parvin was bringing down boards with seven rebounds and eight points for the Beavers. Jada Catlin came off the bench for eight points, five rebounds, and two assists. Player of the game goes to Barton's Juliana Chagas with 15 points and six rebounds.

PCC continues the two game road stretch with a matchup against Cowley Community College on Jan. 10. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m.
