PCC women's basketball falls to Cowley

Pratt Community College women's basketball rounded out their two game road stretch by traveling to Arkansas City, Kan. to face Cowley Community College. Scoring woes plagued the Beavers for the first half against Cowley. PCC loses to Cowley 33-78.

Channa Parvin led the Blue and White in scoring with nine points, five rebounds and an assist. Nya Mach matched Parvin with five rebounds, three blocks, two points and an assist. Tanesha Lewis led the bench with six points and two rebounds. Player of the game goes to Cowley's Kaitlyn Potter who led all scorers with 24 points.

PCC women's basketball returns to the Dennis Lesh Sports Arena on Jan. 13 taking on Allen County Community College. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m.
