Scoring woes plague PCC WBB against Cloud County

The Pratt Community College women's basketball team began the first of a two game home stand on Jan. 27. First up for the Beavers was a matchup with Cloud County Community College. An early scoring drought by Pratt provided the opening Cloud needed to take the lead. The Blue and White tried to rally in the second and third period, but could not overcome the deficit. PCC loses to Cloud 37-58.

Tianna Tullis battled in the post for the Beavers. Tullis finished the game with 12 points, six rebounds and two steals. Nya Mach led the bench in scoring with nine points, three rebounds and two steals. Player of the game goes to Cloud's Camille Awa Baud who led all scorers with 13 points, two rebounds, an assist and a steal.

PCC women's basketball continues the home stand by hosting Seward County Community College on Jan. 31. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m.
