Pratt Community College women's basketball hosted Garden City Community College for a Valentine's Day showdown. The Beavers met a hot Garden City offense that would not be denied. PCC loses 39-71.

Sophomores Tanesha Lewis and Adrianna Wesley led the Blue and White against Garden City. Lewis finished the game with 12 points, three rebounds, an assist and a steal. Wesley followed with nine points and four rebounds. Player of the game goes to Jessica Carrillo. Carrillo finished with a double-double of 17 points and 13 rebounds.

PCC women's basketball travels to El Dorado, Kan. for a matchup with Butler Community College on Feb. 17. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m.
