PCC women's basketball loses to Barton CC

The Pratt Community College women's basketball team began a two game home stand with a matchup against Barton Community College. Scoring woes in the second period proved too much for the Beavers to come back from. PCC loses to Barton 45-70.

Dakota Smith led the Blue and White against Barton with 16 points, five rebounds, four steals and two assists. Channa Parvin led the team in three pointers going 2-6 from beyond the three point arch. She finished with 8 points, an assists, a steal and a rebound. Jada Catlin showed some gritty guard play with six points, five rebounds, four steals and an assist.

Player of the game goes to Barton's Jaylin Stapleton. She led all scorers with 21 points.

PCC women's basketball closes out the final home game of the season against Cowley College on Feb. 24. The afternoon tip-off is set for 2 p.m.
