This sparked a scoring frenzy by Pratt that saw them score 12 runs over the next two innings. After three innings PCC held a 12-5 lead.

Northwest Tech battled getting runs where they could. After a big fifth inning run, Northwest Tech retook the lead and added runs in the sixth. PCC fell behind 12-16.
