PCC baseball finishes series with #15 Barton CC

Pratt Community College baseball wrapped up a four-game series with #15 Barton Community College with a double header in Great Bend, Kan. The bats were cold for the Beavers in the third game of the series. Pratt loses 3-9 in game 3. The offensive woes for the Blue and White were gone for the final game in the series. A five run fifth inning allowed Pratt to take the lead. Barton rallied in the seventh and eighth innings to retake the lead and secure the win. PCC falls in game 4, 11-19.

In the third game, Keaton Gage and Darrian Aldridge each went one for three at the plate. Gage Axline finished one for four with a run. Sean Johnson batted a perfect two for two with a pair of RBIs and a run.

Game 4 saw the Blue and White step up at the plate. Elerie Rivera ended the game two for six at the plate with a run. Axline hit two for five with three runs. Trace Maddux batted two for five with two runs. Ashton Roy led the offense at the plate finishing three for four with two RBIs and a run. Eric Escamilla finished one for two at the plate with a team high three RBIs and two runs.

PCC baseball returns to Stanion Field for a mid-week matchup with Bethany College JV on April 7. First pitch is at 1 p.m.
