The 2024-2025 school year will be Brittany Urenda’s 3rd season as the head coach of the Beavers’ volleyball program.

While at Pratt Community College, Urenda coached the Beavers to a 7-22 2022 season but made improvements in every category. The Beavers had 6 sophomores that continued playing on at the next level: NCAA Division 1, NCAA Division 2, and NAIA. The Beavers maintained a 3.2 GPA throughout the semester. Worked on building a culture that players and surrounding fans could truly support. The 2023 season the Beavers finished the season 9-23 and had two players receive all conference honors.

While being the assistant volleyball at Highland Community College, the Scotties were ranked in the top 15 for the entire season. Highland ended the season with an overall record of 17-6 and a conference record of 13-5. Hosting the district tournament by securing their second-place finish in conference. Urenda had five players that received all-conference and all-district honors: two First Team All-Conference, two First Team All-District, three Second Team All-District. One player was up for All-American, and one was up for Freshman of the Year.

While being the assistant volleyball coach at Garden City, Urenda helped bring a program that was 0-31 to 7-29 overall, and 4-12 in conference. Also, I helped place 3 of their 7 sophomores at various 4-year institutions. The Broncbusters team GPA was 3.55 for the year. While at Garden City, Urenda was the interim assistant women’s basketball coach for the last half of the 2020 spring season and the interim head cheer and dance coach for the 2020 fall season.
