The 2024-25 academic year will mark the third season for Charles Keefer as the Head Esports Coach. In year one, he led the Call of Duty Warzone and NBA 2K teams to the playoffs in the fall season. In the spring season, the Call of Duty 4v4 and Warzone teams made it to the post season. The Esports program competed at the highest level the NJCAAE offered competition in 2022-23. In addition, the Overwatch 2 team traveled to Highland Community College to compete in a LAN event. 

 

In the 2023-24 academic year, the Overwatch 2 team finished runner-up in the Wildcat League in both the fall and spring season. In the fall 2023 season one Fortnite player won the Wildcat League solo competition with the team finishing third in both seasons. In the spring of 2024, the Overwatch 2 team finished in the top eight of their division and advanced to the quarterfinals of the NJCAAE playoffs. 

 

Keefer lives in Pratt with his two dogs Cosmo and Murray and enjoys playing video games and watching movies in his free time.
