On the recruiting trail nonstop since her arrival on March 6, Teeter succeeded in recruiting 13 athletes from across the country for what will be Pratt’s first season with a Women’s Flag Football team in 2023-24.*

Teeter’s coaching philosophy is based on leadership principles she has developed and instilled from her over 30 years experience with the Department of Defense- 10 years active duty Army and another 20 years as a DoD Air Force civilian leading training programs as well as three seasons as a Texas H.S. Football Coach. 

Teeter’s football coaching career began three years ago as a Texas H.S. coach after a year she spent officiating high school football in Texas.  Her last position was as Varsity Tight End/Fullback coach at Estacado HS in Lubbock, TX where she also served as the Director of Football Operations.  

Teeter’s demand for excellence in the classroom as well as on the field helped her position group distinguish itself as the young men were recognized leaders among their teammates.  This expectation for excellence she brings with her to Pratt CC where her athletes will be expected to participate in monthly community service activities, leadership classes, as well as regular football off-season strength and conditioning and skills work.  Expect to see these young ladies actively involved in the community. 

Teeter’s Army time included work in military intelligence as well as tactical communications.  She left the service after 10 years as an Army Staff Sergeant.  As a senior civilian for the Air Force she oversaw multiple organizations supporting intelligence and fire protection training for all five services. (no Space Force at the time!) She is a recognized expert in Strategic Planning and Resource Management and focused most of her 30 years of service on leading organizations and developing leaders.  She received numerous awards and recognition for that success. 

Teeter has three adult children that reside in Texas: Elizabeth, Henry, and Isabella.  She lives here in Pratt with her two rescue dogs Chunk and Chance.  Right now she doesn’t have much free time, but when she can she enjoys golfing.
