Title: Assistant Volleyball Coach

PCC athletics is excited to welcome Kelbi Richter to its ranks! Kelbi will be joining us as the new Assistant Volleyball Coach! Kelbi comes to us from the ranks of junior volleyball. She has been coaching youth volleyball for the past couple of years and will be beginning her first stint as a collegiate coach this year.

On the opportunity, Kelbi said, “I am very excited and grateful for this opportunity. Coaching at the college level has always been a goal of mine. I’m especially grateful that I get to coach beside coach B. The bond and trust that we have for each other will help maintain the strong family dynamic she has already created within the program.”

The connection between PCC’s head coach and her new assistant goes back to 2020, when Kelbi played at Garden City Community College for current Beaver Head Coach Brittany Urenda.

When asked about her new assistant, Brittany said, “I’m very excited to add Kelbi to our coaching staff. Having someone that has gone through the KJCCC and has also played under e is going to bring a level of comfort to the team!”

Kelbi’s volleyball journey began at the age of 6 and her passion for the sport has only grown since then. She was a libero in her playing days and was the first player at Garden City High school to reach over 1000 digs in her first 2 seasons.

The experience and expertise of our newest Volleyball Coach has Beaver fans excited for the future of the program!
