Cheer Team Attends NCA Camp

Pratt, KS – Last week from July 26-28, the Pratt Community College (PCC) Cheer team traveled to Northwest Missouri State University (NWMSU) for their annual National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) camp.

NCA camp is designed to prepare cheer teams for their entire season. From performance and skills training to their renowned College Game Day program attending camp allows teams to create a foundation built on growth, camaraderie, and tradition.

The Beavers attended camp with 21 other teams mostly consisting of four-year university except for three community colleges including PCC. The team brought home two trophies from camp. They took first place in Rally Routine and first place in Crowd Segment after a runoff with the other teams who took first in their division.

From attending camp, the team earned a Silver Paid Bid to NCA College Nationals which will take place from April 5-9 in Daytona Beach, FL. This will be the teams third straight bid to attend the college national competition.
